Viannae is a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst and a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee with a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of California Riverside and currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University. Furthermore, Viannae is trained in DIR©/Floortime™ (developmental play therapy), and a number of Social Skill interventions (PEERS, Social Thinking etc.).
For over 6 years Viannae has worked in the clinical, school and home settings addressing social skill, communication, emotional regulation and behavioral deficits/challenges secondary to a range of neurodevelopmental/psychological disorders including but not limited to: PDD-NOS, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, and Intellectual Disability.
In addition, Viannae has developed and authored a 4-part Social Skills Curriculum series that utilizes multidisciplinary techniques and age appropriate and socially valid social skills to school-aged children.
Viannae is passionate about providing comprehensive and integrative care to her clients and actively attends seminars (CogMed in Schools, The Language & Art of Social Skills) and trainings to improve her clinical skill and knowledge base. It is Viannae’s hope to pursue a Doctoral degree in Neuropsychology following the completion of her master’s degree.
